Maybe Minor, but Complaints Nonetheless

There are several small things that are annoying me currently. There isn't anything I can do about them, besides vent to anyone who wants to read this. And yes, I know how minor and minuscule they are in the grand scheme of things, sometimes you just need to get it out.

1. Mi Casa. I am a homeowner, and I have NEVER had more problems in all the places I have rented than I am having now. For the approx. 5th time in less than 4 months, my condo complex does not have hot water. Apparently, I live in a dump. I'm not sure who I am supposed to blame here, my realtor, the developer, the plumber who can't seem to get it right, or the HOA that just raised my rate $35 a month and FOR WHAT?!?! All I know, is I have been washing my hair in an ice cold sink on the days that it decides to go out, which has been SINCE SATURDAY. Not. happy.

2. Work cleaning crew. I swear, the staff that cleans our offices at night must be in cahoots with the guy that owns the vending machines. Full, empty, or with my name on it, the cleaning crew always THROWS AWAY my water bottle every freaking night. I have to HIDE my own water bottle before I leave everyday! Ridiculous. And sometimes, well I am in a hurry and I forget, so I have to go buy yet ANOTHER water bottle out of the vending machine. Like I said.....cahoots.

3. Michelle Obama : Fashion Diva. WHAT?!?!?! I mean really, WHAT?! All they were talking about on the NEWS this morning is how this woman is single handily saving the economy and getting people buying new clothes. Yet this "Jason Wu" character who designed her inauguration gown is supposedly on PETA's radar for all the fur he has used. My annoyance/question here?? Where the hell is Ashley Judd on this?! I mean, isn't she due another commercial talking about how Michelle is endorsing the death of animals? Or does this only apply to republicans? I hate celebrities who delve into politics. Ugh.

I am sure there are many many more, but for now I am off to work... minor bumps in the road of life, but I think the air in my tires is already low.

Julie, is there anything that makes you happy other than prepubescent boys?

... Sorry, I just had to.

There is absolutely nothing worse than starting the day off with no hot water. It's just miserable. BUT it does wake you up in the morning, so you've got that going for you. The work cleaning crew must be turning in a huge profit off of your missing water bottles... probably a big cartel than brings them to one of the states that gives you $.05 a bottle, plus the 5-10 cents in profit they make on the new ones you keep having to buy... you're probably funding a loaf of bread for their family back in Mexico each week!

I wasn't even aware Michelle Obama dressed well. I've never seen her look remotely flattering, but she's the new "big name" so you know people will flock. Don't even get me started on celebrities getting into politics... and the reason why they only care about Republicans messing up is because the celebrities are mostly liberals. But I'm sure you knew that.

2. Our cleaning crew left a note on one of the girls computers that read "I luv you. <3Luis"

Hey hey Brandon - control your jealousy.

No hot water is absolutley miserable, when we even HAVE water. And now I'm told they don't know WHEN we will have it again. I mean seriously? NOTHING can be done?

Between my water bottles and the new ones there has to be some bread being served to families in Mexico.

Wait... most celebrities are liberals???? Since when?!?

Faith - well atleast thats flattering. I just had things taken from me... no compliments from Luis at all.

It doesn't even bother me that most celebrities are Liberal, what bothers me is that they use their fame based on entertainment to push their oftentimes ill informed political agendas. The worst part is that people actually buy into their garbage. Ugh.

Oh, and I was actually going to write a "things I hate" type blog, but now I'd feel all lame and cliche since you beat me to it today. I'm totally mad at you, Julie.

jules:
1. did we cover the fact that we are twins yet? cus i live in a condo too. and i just got my HOA dues raised by 35$. Are you trying to steal my life?
2. I do have hot water. Ok, never mind, you aren't stealing my life anymore. mine is much better than yours.
3. michelle obama. UGHHHHH so sick of her already. first of all, is it just me, or does she look mad all the time? maybe it's her weird jawline and underbite, thats right, i just said what everyone else was thinking.
4. don't get me started on the work cleaning crews. everynight, i would tie up my garbage bag so they'd be forced to take it and replace with a new one instead of just emptying it. thats right, i costed THEM a whole loaf of bread every week. two can play at that game.

Brandon - take that hate to the blog man, take it to the blog.

brit - you have hot water. therefor atleast your raised dues are covering something, where as i apparently bought into a lemon.

a-HA, bag tying. That will be next.

One of my older co-workers has a recycle bin - they dumped that out a few nights and she finally put a sign over it that said "No TRASHO"

HAHA - I laughed for DAYS>

The hate always goes to the blog. I hated on some unsuspecting people though, because I could never hate on Julie.

I love ignorant old people. "No TRASHO" is amazing.

haha. thats hilarious. well then, they switched companies to people with mental diabilities (they had to have people supervising them when they worked) and i was like, really? we go from incompetent illegals to this? can i just get my trash changed without getting my crap stolen and my water bottle yanked? is that so much to ask!?

Ah Julie, I am sorry you are having so much trouble with your condo. Try to remember how excited you were to move there.

Cleaning Crews: your sister is my cleaning person.....need I say more...ugh.

Michele Obama.....Her taste in clothes...NOT...I have yet to see her wear anything I would wear. Her clothes are UGLY!!!!!!

I need celebrities to keep their politics to themselves. The movies I can watch are becoming fewer. Soon I will be protesting all movies. Sigh.

i agree with mom. I too will be protesting all movies soon enough. i am already on a permanent protest of tom cruise, due to him thinking we are all aliens and brainwashing that poor katie holmes. The View, of course, has also been on permanent protest.

Jewels said...

I can't watch so many movies nowadays. Sad Sad. I hate the view. But, and I admit it, I LOVE Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I do. I love her.

I boycott movies already... like anything Sean Penn is in. Tom Cruise doesn't get the full boycott as long as he keeps taking on roles like he did in Tropic Thunder. Anything serious though and I'm skipping out.

I think it goes without saying that I love The View.

My recycle bin has a big, printed picture of the recycle logo on it. It's in color and everything. After they kept emptying it I put a sign on the top with "DO NOT TAKE!" and a frowny face!! That's right bitches, don't mess with my recycling.

Faith - we too have strange men leaving weird notes for women in the office. I have not been the chosen one yet, but I know my day is coming! Luis, if you are reading this - send me a note to Dallas with Fernando!
